A Uni-Select member named Jobber of the Year

Boucherville, July 8, 2014 - Uni-Select, a leading North American distributor of replacement parts, equipment, tools, accessories, paint and related products in the automotive aftermarket, is pleased to announce that Active Group Inc., a Uni-Select member, has been selected as the 2014 Jobber of the Year by Jobber News. Active Group Inc. is the 31st recipient of this award and the 13th Uni-Select member to obtain such recognition. In honor of the two founders of Jobber News, the Jobber of the Year Award is given to a Canadian company for his success, his service to the automotive aftermarket and his involvement in the community, representing key values in the Canadian industry.

Active Group Inc. joined Uni-Select Inc. at its inception in 1997. With its 8 branches located across Alberta, Active Group Inc. is one of the largest members of Uni-Select in Western Canada. Its activities are diversified and include the core automotive parts operation as well as Industrial/Heavy Duty truck and lubricants business segments.

Among the recent recipients, 13 jobbers are members of the Uni-Select network, such as Groupe Maska Inc. in St-Hyacinthe, Québec named Jobber of the Year in 2013, Sutherland Automotive, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, winner in 2012, Warehouse Services Inc., in Edmonton, Alberta, winner in 2011 and Auto Parts Central, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, recipient in 2008.
